Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wear chic, stylish clothes while strutting down a runway towards an audience of admirers and photographers? Have you ever wished that you could walk into a room, capture everyone's attention, and have them wonder, who is that stunning vision with all that self-confidence?

Our professionals at Valiance want to help make these and other dreams a reality. Valiance is a fashion consulting company that aims to teach the importance of self-confidence, poice, and personal flair, all while having lots of fun.

With over thirteen years of experience in the fashion industry, we at Valiance have worked with and have been trained by some of the most talented industry professionals. We want to share our love for modeling, style, and fashion, and be able to teach our students the importance of not only looking their best, but also feeling their best every day. Valiance wants to encourage everyone to find and bring out his or her innermost beauty. To accomplish this goal we provide services that include modeling and etiquette classes that teach the importance of fabulous, yet affordable style.

Beginner Modeling

Children's Classes
The Children's Classes are courses designed for children ages 8-12. They are designated to expose young girls to modeling and style, and we
stress fun and fashion. A limited number of students are accepted per class, and all of our instructors are professionals in their fields.

The Courses include:

-Etiquette, Manners and Poise

-Developing and Projecting Positive Self-esteem

-Good Grooming and Wardrobe Selection

-Hairstyling

-Runway Modeling

-Runway Posing

-Bonus: Modeling "Supplies", including Make-up and Hair Accesories!

At the completion of every course, each child will be a part of the Final Fashion Show. The Fashion Show gives each and every child an opportunity to show off the modeling and acting skills they have developed during the entire course.

Teen & Adult Classes
The Teen and Adult Classes are intended for students ages 13 and up, and cover a wider range of subjects. A limited number of students are accepted per class.

The course includes:

-Skin Care and make-up -Runway Modeling

-Nail Care -Self-confidence

-Hair Care -Etiquette

-Exercise, Diet and Nutrition -Personal Development

-Showmanship -Finale Fashion Show

-Voice Projection -Bonus: Modeling "Supplies"

-Wardrobe Selection

Advanced Classes
The Advanced Classes are for those who wish to continue their learning about style and fashion.

Additional subjects will include:

-Show-Stopping Runway Techniques -Grooming Skills

-Activities that focus on Creative Self-Discovery -Skin Care

-Perfecting your Personal Style -Nail Care

-Nutrition and Exercise Information -Bonus Fashion Show

-Formal and Informal Fashion Show Techniques

-Modeling with Props and Accessories

	About me Julie Poppoon grew up in the San Antonio area, and is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a minor in Business Administration. Working in the fashion industry for over ten years, she has modeled for some of the top designers and local industry professionals, as well as appeared in several local and national print advertisements. Her career in modeling has taken her to many exciting markets, such as Miami, Dallas, Houston, and Mexico. She has been very fortunate to work with influential retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Julian Gold, Tootsie's, David's Bridal, and Dillard's, and has graced the runway for such designers as Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Dana Buchman, and St. John. This will also be her fifth year as the fit model for the fashion design students at The University of the Incarnate Word. Modeling has afforded Julie the luxury of being a part of something she has always loved – fashion. While being on the runway or in front of a camera is always exciting, Julie also began teaching runway and assisting in fashion show production over nine years ago. Being such a big part of such exciting events has increased her desire to share her love of the industry with others. She is very excited about Valiance, and is looking forward to what the future holds.
